Love Happens Nov 17th-20th
One of our favorite times of the year – Love Happens Week! A time for us to come together as a church and be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community.
Monday - November 17th
We will need ALL Thanksgiving baskets by November 16th!
Thanksgiving Baskets: We will be unpacking and packing over 300 Thanksgiving baskets for the members of our beautiful community. Our unpacking and packing party will begin at 10:00 AM.
Operation Christmas Child Sorting and Packing (MVMT Students): We will be sorting and organizing all of the donations we received in September for Operation Christmas Child. Sorting and organizing will begin at 10:00; Our MVMT Packing party will begin at 5:00 PM in the MVMT Room.
Tuesday - November 18th
Thanksgiving Invite and Sort: Beginning at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, we will be doing the final sort for our Thanksgiving baskets.
Neighborhood Love (Surry Place): We will be sending a team to Surry Place Health and Rehab Center to take snacks and cookies, and sing old hymns and Christmas songs with the residents.
Wednesday - November 19th
Rise and Shine Coffee Truck: We will be having a coffee truck available to serve free coffee to teachers and administrators at SeaBreeze Elementary School beginning at 7:30 AM
Sunny Shores Food Trucks: We will be sending a team out to love on the residents of Sunny Shores. Our teams will provide food trucks to residents in the Sunny Shores neighborhood beginning at 11:30 AM.
MVMT Christmas Cards: Our MVMT Students will be signing Christmas Cards that will be sent out to the community. Our MVMT Christmas Card Party will begin at 6:00 PM.
Thursday - November 20th
Rise and Shine Coffee Truck at Ballard: We will be at Ballard Elementary with a coffee truck to provide free coffee to teachers and administrators at Ballard Elementary School beginning at 7:30 AM.
Thanksgiving Basket Drive-Thru: Beginning at 4:00 PM, we will be hosting our Thanksgiving Basket Drive-Thru in the Bridge Church parking lot. We will be handing out baskets and praying over community baskets as they collect their gifts.
